Armed Robbery, Robbins Mercantile Store, Robbins, CA
TEXT:
On Sunday, April 1, 2007, at approximately 4:50 PM, the clerk at the
Robbins Mercantile Store, 4895 Del Monte Ave, Robbins, CA, was
robbed at gun point.
The clerk reported that the suspect entered the store, displayed a
handgun and stated, “Give me the money or I shoot you.” The clerk
handed over the cash drawer and was told by the suspect to lie down
on the floor. The clerk lay on the floor and the suspect fled out
the front door with the cash drawer containing an undetermined
amount of money. The clerk followed the suspect to the parking lot
and saw the suspect flee towards Highway 113 driving a white 80’s
model Pontiac Firebird.
The clerk described the suspect as a Hispanic Male, approximately
20-25 years old, 5’5”-5’7” 150-170lbs, wearing a blue t-shirt and
blue jeans and wearing a blue stocking cap and sunglasses that
covered his face.
