Decease person in
Wadsworth Canal identified
TEXT:
On Wednesday,
November 22, 2006, at approximately 8:19 AM, Sutter County Sheriff’s
deputies recovered an unidentified body in the water at the
Wadsworth canal area north of Buttehouse Road. A subsequent
autopsy identified the cause of death as drowning however all
toxicology results are still pending. There were no signs of foul
play present.
With the assistance
of a Forensic Odontologist, the deceased has been positively
identified as Eric D. Forsberg Jr., 30 years of age of Yuba City.
Mr. Forsberg had been described as a WMA, 6’2”, 165lbs, brown eyes
and brown medium length hair with a mustache and pierced left ear.
Mr. Forsberg was reported missing to Yuba City Police on November 11th
by family members. He was last seen on November 10th at
approximately 4pm walking to the Plumas Street area from the Knights
Inn Motel. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a brown
plaid jacket, blue jeans and black van shoes. Dental charts were
later obtained and a positive comparison was accomplished today.
Any persons that
have any information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Forsberg after
November 11th at 4pm are urged to contact the Sutter
County Sheriff’s Department.
