BOATING SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT

TEXT:

The Sutter County Sheriff’s Department will conduct a Boating Under the Influence (BUI) Checkpoint Saturday, June 11, 2005 between the hours of 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

The checkpoint will be in the unincorporated river areas of the confluence of the Sacramento and Feather Rivers.

In addition to Drunk Driving Enforcement, Sheriff’s Deputies will be conducting safety inspections and will distribute informational material on boating safety and equipment requirements to all boaters passing through.
