Sutter Sheriff Deputies requesting
information regarding attack on Yuba City woman
TEXT:
Sutter County Sheriff’s Deputies are
requesting information from the public regarding an attack on an East
Indian female that occurred on Nov 04, 2004 while she was attending a
meeting at the Sikh Temple on Tierra Buena Road. The 46 year old Yuba
City woman was injured as she was leaving the temple as a result of
being hit by a male subject wielding a shovel. Just prior to this, a
confrontation occurred as a group of meeting goers were attempting to
leave the temple and were confronted by several individuals armed with
shovels and broom sticks. The altercation involved approximately
25-50 individuals.
Sheriff’s Deputies are asking that
anyone with information regarding the incident or anyone who may have
video taped the incident to contact the Sutter County Sheriff’s
