            Boating Sobriety Checkpoint

 Text

            The Sutter County Sheriff’s Department will conduct a Boating Under the Influence (BUI) Checkpoint Sunday, May 30th, 2003 between the hours of 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

           The checkpoint will be in the unincorporated river areas south of the confluence of the Bear and Feather Rivers.

           In addition to Drunk Driving Enforcement, Sheriff’s Deputies will be conducting a safety inspection. Deputies will distribute informational material about the checkpoint to all boaters passing through.
