          Sutter County Sheriff’s Department Announces 3^rd Annual Live Oak Safety Day

The Sutter County Sheriff’s Department in conjunction with the City of Live Oak and the Sutter County Health Department are sponsoring the 3^rd Annual Live Oak Safety Day.  The event will be held on Saturday, May 31^st, 2003 at the Live Oak City Park (Pennington and O Street).  The hours will be from 10A.M. to 2 P.M.  Special events at the fair will be:

·        Bike Rodeo with prizes (for preschoolers to 8^th grade)           

·        Car seat safety booth

·        Child fingerprinting

·        Face painting

·        Balloon art

·        Health Department Bus with free testing available

·        Participants in the bike rodeo are eligible for a free drawing of a bicycle

The Health Department Bus will be there to provide testing and educational programs to children and adults.  Pediatric immunizations will be done but parents must present the “yellow” shot card in order for children to be vaccinated.
