Sutter Deputies conduct tobacco sting
TEXT:
Sutter County Sheriff’s Deputies
assisted by Sutter County Health Department employees conducted a
tobacco decoy operation in the Yuba City-Live Oak area. Using
underage Sheriff’s Cadets, attempts were made at nineteen local
businesses to purchase tobacco items. Clerks at fourteen of the
nineteen businesses complied with the law against selling tobacco to
minors and should be commended. Those stores were identified as:
