 Sutter County Sheriff’s Department sponsors Citizen Volunteer Academy

 TEXT:

 The Sutter County Sheriff’s Department is pleased to announce a Citizen Volunteer Academy to be held at Whiteaker Hall, 44 Second Street, Yuba City, (just south of the Sutter County Airport).  The course will start on Saturday, February 8, 2003 and conclude on Saturday, March 29, 2003.  Classes will range from how to operate the radio to community service concepts.  The course instruction will be provided in eight, four hour blocks. 

The course, though sponsored by the Sheriff’s Department, is intended to provide education and training regarding volunteerism in a local law enforcement volunteer program.  It is open to members of the Yuba-Sutter Community at no charge.  Anyone wishing to attend or obtain additional information is asked to contact Sutter County Volunteer Coordinator B.J.
