SUBJECT: State Alcohol and Beverage Control and the Sutter County Sheriff’s Department co-sponsor LEADS Training (Licensee Education on Alcohol and Drugs) TEXT: The Sutter County Sheriff’s Department is co-sponsoring a LEADS training class for alcohol licensees and their employees as part of a grant received from the State Department of Alcohol Beverage Control. The grant provides funding for deputies to assist in the education, compliance and enforcement of alcohol related laws. The training will focus on what is acceptable identification, how best to check identification, how to determine if identification is fraudulent, and legal updates on current alcohol related laws.
