FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SUBJECT: BOATING SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT
The Sutter County Sheriff’s Department will conduct a Boating Under the Influence (BUI) Checkpoint Saturday,July 6, 2002 between the hours of 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
The checkpoint will be in the unincorporated area south of Yuba City.
In addition to Drunk Driving Enforcement, Sheriff’s Deputies will be conducting a safety inspection. Deputies will distribute informational material about the checkpoint to all boaters passing through.
