Update to news release-shooting/barricaded subject 04/04/01

TEXT:

Sutter County Sheriff's Detectives have made an arrest concerning a shooting incident that occurred in the 1500 block of Oro Grande, Yuba City earlier today. Detectives have interviewed the victim of the shooting and have identified him as Kenneth Danielson, 61, of the 1500 block of Oro Grande, Yuba City.

The suspect is identified as Mary Danielson, 55, of the 1500 block of Oro Grande, Yuba City. She was interviewed by Detectives and later booked into the Sutter County Jail on charges of attempted murder, domestic violence, and assault with a deadly weapon.

Based on the statements of both the suspect and the victim there appears that there are no other individuals involved in the incident. Detectives serving a search warrant at the residence have recovered what is believed to be the weapon used in the shooting. Confirmation of that is pending. There will be no additional updates unless circumstances require.
