The Sutter County Sheriff’s Department Supports National Night Out.

The Sutter County Sheriff’s Department will celebrate National Night Out with the citizens of Sutter County from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2001. There are 13 block parties planned in neighborhoods throughout Sutter County. National Night Out is a nationwide crime and drug prevention event designed to heighten prevention awareness and strengthen neighborhood spirit.

The block parties will provide a meeting place for neighbors to get together with the Sheriff’s Department team and exchange ideas, concerns and get to know each other. Demonstrations by the Sheriff’s canine, boat patrol, dispatch, Swat, and bike patrol will conducted at the block parties as time permits. Members of the Sheriff’s Department command staff will also attend the events.

Events are scheduled at the following locations:

  2. L & Gum, Live Oak
  3. J & Fir, Live Oak
  4. 10000 block of Larkin Road, Live Oak
  5. Kola & Erika, Live Oak
  6. Albert and Peach, Live Oak
  7. Sutter Youth Building, Sutter
  8. Mahal Plaza, Yuba City
  9. Anthony Drive, Yuba City
  10. Happy Park, Yuba City
  11. Rancho Cortez, Yuba City
  12. Los Bravos, Yuba City
  13. East Nicholas-South Sutter Recreation Association Pool
