Subject: Identity Discovered of Deceased found in South Yuba City

Sheriff's Detectives have identified the body of an East Indian male subject found earlier today in an orchard in the 1300 block of Sanborn Road, Yuba City. The male has been identified through the assistance of family members as Gurbakash Singh, 54, of Yuba City. The case is being investigated as homicide-suspicious circumstances at this time. An autopsy is being scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.

There will be no further news releases pending the outcome of the autopsy.
