Media Release For Immediate Release: Subject: Body Discovered in Orchard-South Yuba City Text: At 11:33 hours today, Sutter County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a subject lying in the roadway in the 1300 block of Sanborn Road, Yuba City. On arrival, Deputies discovered the body of an East Indian male lying in the orchard area west of the 1300 block of Sanborn Road, Yuba City. A field worker discovered the victim, who has not been identified at this time. Detectives are treating the discovery as a homicide based upon the visible injuries to the victim. Cause of death is pending an autopsy.
