| Lieutenant Casner would like to use citizen volunteers to staff the Live Oak Substation on a daily basis during regular predetermined hours. The purpose of the program would be to make the public aware that they can come to the substation and there would be someone there. They could also provide a storefront of services such as Child Fingerprinting, Bicycle Registration, maintain our database, and provide information on our Neighborhood Watch and Speed Watch programs. The Citizen Volunteer Program is in need of more volunteers and is actively recruiting. Contact the Sheriff's Department if you are interested in becoming a Citizen Volunteer. |
