Car Seat Checkpoint and Bicycle Rodeo Programs

Sutter County Sheriff's Department has joined efforts and sponsored several Car Seat Checkpoints and Bicycle Rodeos in the Live Oak Contract Area and the main office.

Previously, Sutter County Sheriff's Department received a grant from the California State Sheriff's Association to educate the pubic and enforce car seat law during the week of November 22-28th, 1999. Since the expiration of the grant, the Sheriff Department has continued to be active in car seat buckle up check points and in sponsoring bicycle rodeo programs.

In addition the Sheriff's Department continues to be active with bi-annual Operation Mobilization week.
